We are delighted to share WHALE Arts’ Westburn CAN project has been shortlisted as a finalist under the Food category in the Climate Challenge Fund Awards!
The Westburn CAN project has been recognized for engaging local people in collective community participation to reduce carbon emissions. Working in partnership with New Caledonian Woodlands and Build To Grow, volunteers from all sectors of the community were cheap ambient reverb pedal engaged in practical activities to design and build an open access garden for community use. Project activities included food growing and cookery workshops.
The Awards evening will be held on 1 November 2017 at Dynamic Earth and the overall winner from each category will be announced on the night.
