Access to Creative Arts

Want to get in to a creative arts course but don’t have the qualifications? This course is a great first step if you want to study media and the arts at college and need an access route. You’ll study multi-media, photography, radio, animation and more, and can gain up to 8 SQA modules. Classes are based at WHALE Arts and delivered by Stevenson College.

smART CRAFT

This fully inclusive group is suitable for people with learning disabilities, and offers a fun and relaxed introduction to visual arts and crafts. Please call to book a place.

Do you play a musical instrument? Join our Musician in Residence Rod Jones (Idlewild) who holds the weekly workshops covering arranging, writing, recording and performing music in groups.

Textile Group

 Do you enjoy sewing and crafts? Join our women’s Textile Group and learn a new skill with the help of our qualified tutor and friendly group. Learn something new or improve an existing talent - items made will be used to help the local community. All skill-levels are welcome!
