Join us for a variety of fun and free art activities at WHALE Arts this Summer for toddlers, children and teenagers. From wands and potions to fun family days out to the Edinburgh Festival!
At ‘Circus School’ you can learn some amazing skills and create a show for friends and family. Or pop along to ‘You decide’ sessions – we have a massive range of materials and artist makers to work with you on your own project, whatever it may be. You decide!
Families can explore the ‘Edinburgh Art Festival’ theme: “Stories for an uncertain world”, linking to exhibitions around the city and creating small and large scale artwork. Activities include collage,
drawing, light projection, zine making and animation, and a trip.
‘Play, Sense, Create’ offers activities for primary aged young people with additional support
needs/disabilities and their families, from summer music sessions with Jess Abrams to multi-sensory audio-visual interactive spaces in ‘Stripy Nest’. Book ‘Play, Sense, Create’ activities by emailing Kirstin: play-sense-create@whalearts.co.uk
Activities are on a drop-in or by booking basis – further details can be found here: Summer Programme 2019 flyer (click here).
